Öğrencilerimizin programdan mezun olabilmeleri için, dönemlik 30 olmak üzere toplam 240 AKTS ve 139 kredili, 2 adet yaz stajı, 2 adet bireysel yazılım projesi, 2 adet yazılım ekibi projesi ve 2 adet bitirme projesi dersleri de dâhil olmak üzere toplam 49 dersten başarılı olmaları gerekmektedir. Ders programında belirtilen 49 dersin 2’si sosyal 8 teknik olmak üzere toplam 10 ders seçmeli olarak tanımlanmıştır.

Teknik seçmeli derslerden,  branşlar sayfasında bahsi geçen ders gruplarını seçen öğrencilerimize diplomalarına ek olarak günümüzün en popüler çalışma alanlarından Kalite ve Test Mühendisliği,  Oyun Mühendisliği branşlarında başarı belgesi verilecektir.

Türkçe: ENG 121 dersi öğrencilerin İngilizce akademik çalışmaları için gerekli dört dil becerisini (okuma, yazma, dinleme ve konuşma) belirli temalar çerçevesinde birleştiren zorunlu bir derstir. İngilizce: ENG 121 is a compulsory theme-based course focusing on improving reading and writing skills as well as vocabulary knowledge required for academic studies in English. In addition to improving high level academic language skills, the course aims at employing critical thinking skills through challenging tasks that guide students in comprehending, evaluating, and synthesizing information, ideas and judgments as students are also expected to express themselves orally. ESR101: Etik ve Sosyal Sorumluluk / Ethics and Social Responsibility (1 0) 1 / 1 AKTS

Türkçe: Bu ders şu konuları kapsamaktadır; yakın gelecekte iş hayatına atılacak öğrencileri faydalı etik teoriler hakkında bilgilendirmek. Öğrencilerin ahlaki konuları analiz edip, çözüm üretme becerilerini güçlendirmek. Dersin farklı bölümlerinde değinilecek olan ve etik açıdan zor durumlar yaratılan hukuksal olaylar ile öğrencilerin bu konular üzerinde düşünmelerini sağlanacak ve üstünden gelme stratejileri geliştirmeleri sağlanacaktır. Ayrıca bu ders sadece işletme öğrencileri için değil, mühendislik ve diğer alandaki öğrenciler için de tasarlanmıştır.

İngilizce: Deciding what constitutes an ethical issue is often difficult because what constitutes good ethical behavior has never been clearly defined. The scope of this course is then to present useful ethical theories to university students who are going to be practitioners in various fields in the near future, and to improve their skills both in analyzing concrete moral issues and deciding upon strategies for solving moral dilemmas. On the other hand in spite of the blurry situation, today’s managers need to create an ethically healthy environment for their employees. How managers can create a healthy environment and help employees to make the right decisions through ethically ambiguous situations is one of other main concerns of this course. The course is designed not only for business students but also for engineering, law, art and sciences and other prospective students. For this reason case studies that excel on various kinds of problems should be analyzed in class discussions. To present ethical-dilemma exercises in each chapter will allow the students to think through ethical issues and assess how they would handle them.

SENG101: Bilgisayar Programlama I / Computer Programming I (3 2) 4 / 6 AKTS

Türkçe: Bu ders öncelikle programlamanın temel kavramlarını tanıtır. Sonrasında problem çözme stratejilerini, algoritma tasarımı ve geliştirme, sözde kod yazımı ve akış diyagramını, algoritmaların problem çözmedeki rolünü işler. Dersin devamında konu olarak veri tipleri, kontrol yapıları, fonksiyonlar, diziler, dosyalar, test etme ve hata ayıklama mekaniği yer alır. Türkçe: Bu ders öncelikle veri türleri, kontrol yapıları ve dizi konularının kısa bir tekrarı ile başlar. Daha sonra nesne yönelimli tasarımın temelleri ile birlikte sınıfların tanımı ve kullanımı üzerine odaklanarak nesne yönelimli programlama ile devam eder. Bu kapsamda, kapsülleme ve bilgi saklama, sınıflar, alt sınıflar, nesneler arası miras ilişkisi, çok biçimlilik, sınıf hiyerarşileri, soyut sınıf ve arayüz kavramları tanıtılır. It then proceeds with object-oriented programming, focusing on the definition and use of classes with object-oriented design. Türkçe: Öğrencilerin yazılım mühendisliği alanında en az 20 iş günlük yaz eğitimi yapıp başarılı bir şekilde tamamlaması gerekir. SENG492: Bitirme Projesi II / Graduation Project II (1 4) 3 / 5 AKTS

Türkçe: Bu ders kapsamında öğrencilerden bir takım oluşturarak bir öğretim üyesinin danışmanlığında endüstriye yönelik bir proje geliştirmesi beklenmektedir. Bu dersin temel amacı olarak öğrencilerden gerçek hayata yönelik olan projedeki karmaşık probleme yenilikçi bir çözüm getirerek projeyi geliştirmeleri ve  kullanıcı testlerini yaparak geliştirilen ürünün başarısını ölçmeleri beklenmektedir. Aynı zamanda kullanıcı testlerinden elde edilen sonuçları analiz ederek ortaya çıkan eksiklikleri proje süresi boyunca sürekli geliştirmeleri beklenmektedir.

İngilizce: Within the scope of this course, it is expected that a team from students will develop an industry oriented project under the guidance of a faculty member. The main objective of this course is to develop a project for real life and to measure the success of the product by administering user tests. In addition, it is expected that the deficiencies will be continuously improved throughout the project by analyzing the results obtained from the user tests.
